Scope & current status

This notice covers the AI2App website and the upcoming 审字君 app. It describes the local development candidate dated October 20, 2026. Changes to signing, store builds or third-party configuration will be reflected before release.

AI2App is an independent software brand. The website currently offers no accounts, memberships, online payments or media uploads. Contact support@ai2app.app for support. Operator details will be added before the store release and aligned with App Store Connect.

Local media processing

The app references media files you select and generates temporary audio locally for recognition. Whisper and Qwen recognition and subtitle alignment run on your Mac. The app does not proactively upload your media, reference scripts or subtitles. Recognition results still need human review.

Reference scripts, media paths, subtitles, word timings, edits, waveforms and styles are saved in local projects. File access is granted through the system picker and restored using local bookmarks. Invalid access requires reselecting the file.

Model downloads & third-party services

You initiate model downloads from Hugging Face model sources and CDNs. Files are verified. Download providers receive connection information such as your IP address, request time, model path and standard HTTP metadata, subject to their own policies. Recognition and alignment can run locally after models are fully installed.

The Qwen inference process uses local model paths and offline mode with Hugging Face telemetry disabled. The main app handles model downloads separately. External websites, the App Store and services you choose for sharing exports have their own privacy practices.

Storage & retention

Open Model Management → Open storage directory to view the current app storage location. The sandbox candidate uses its own macOS app container, separate from ordinary development builds. Migration for the formally signed release still needs verification.

Models holds managed models; Projects holds autosaved projects and project vocabularies; Cache holds temporary audio, local recognition work files and model loading caches; Exports holds raw recognition results, script differences, corrected text, alignment logs and project snapshots. Projects and Exports remain until you delete them.

You manage projects, SRT and MP4 files saved elsewhere. Recent projects, layout, styles and file access bookmarks are stored in local preferences. System temporary folders may also contain downloads, runtime files or video encoding intermediates. Incomplete tasks may leave local diagnostic or cache files.

Deleting your data

Clear temporary cache only clears the current app Cache. It does not delete Models, Projects, Exports or source media and is unavailable during active tasks. Uninstall managed model only removes the selected model from the current app Models folder.

To remove project history, recognition results or reports, back up anything you need, then move the relevant files in Projects or Exports to Trash. Delete files saved elsewhere separately. Uninstalling the app does not automatically remove all local materials. The app does not clean dependencies belonging to old versions or other software.

Device data, permissions & diagnostics

The app does not require microphone, contacts, location or automation access to other apps. It reads local preferences and project/model metadata for recovery and file processing, uses timing APIs to display task duration, and checks available disk space. Disk capacity information is not uploaded.

The current testing candidate may write limited environment details, offline configuration and API call counts to local diagnostic files. These are not automatically sent. Projects and reports may contain scripts, subtitles and file paths, so review them before sharing. The app has no accounts, advertising or analytics telemetry services.

Website & browser data

This is a static information website with no registration, feedback form or media upload. It includes no advertising or analytics scripts. Your manually selected theme is stored in browser localStorage and can be removed using your browser site-data controls.

When hosted on Cloudflare, Cloudflare may process IP addresses, headers, access times and other connection information to deliver and protect the site, under its privacy policy. This does not give the website access to media processed inside the subtitle app.
